Privacy Policy — CreatorOS

This Privacy Policy explains what information CreatorOS collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by CreatorOS to answer common privacy questions about our Service. It is not an independent certification.

Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials.
Profile & product data: onboarding answers, niche, platform, tasks, missions, goals, and planner entries you create in the app.
Billing information: handled by Stripe. We receive limited billing metadata (plan, status, last 4 digits) but not full card numbers.
Usage & device data: log data such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type (mobile, tablet, desktop), pages viewed, referrer, and timestamps. On mobile devices we may receive coarse device identifiers provided by the browser or app runtime. We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or the contents of any file you have not chosen to send to your COO.
Cookies & local storage: we use first-party cookies and browser local storage strictly to keep you signed in, remember your workspace preferences, and secure the session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

How We Use Information

To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
To personalize the missions, plans, and drafts your COO produces for you.
To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
To send transactional emails (e.g., password reset, receipts) from our domain.
To secure our systems and prevent abuse.

Subprocessors

We rely on trusted providers to run the Service, including our hosting and database provider, Stripe (payments), and Google (language-model inference routed through our model gateway). These providers only receive the data required to perform their services.

Your Content & Model Providers

Prompts you send to your COO and the responses generated for you are used to operate the Service and personalize your workspace. They are not used to train third-party foundation models: our model gateway routes requests to providers (currently Google) under terms that prohibit training on customer inputs and outputs. You can delete your workspace data at any time by emailing support@creatorcoo.app.

Analytics

We collect only aggregate, first-party product analytics (for example: which pages are visited and whether key actions succeed). We do not use third-party advertising analytics, cross-site tracking, or the IDFA/IDFV advertising identifiers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the subprocessors above, when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level security on user data, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

Data Retention

We retain account and product data for as long as your account is active. Once you delete your account, your profile, tasks, missions, goals, credit history, and COO chat history are permanently removed within 30 days. Limited billing records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law. Backups are rotated on a rolling 30-day schedule.

Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. You may also request deletion by emailing support@creatorcoo.app from the address on file, and we will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Export Your Data

You can download a JSON copy of your profile, tasks, missions, goals, credit usage, and COO chat history at any time from Settings → Your data → Export data.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Service or email.
